Investing in our children by investing in our educators.

Within our frum society and within our flourishing Torah observant educational system, too many students lack enthusiasm for their mitzvah observance, are disenchanted with perpetuating core values and often lack Jewish pride.

The Goal

The goal of the Amatz Initiative is to empower educators with skills and knowledge to help young women recognize their potential and value and define their religious selves within a safe environment that is consistent with Torah values as they face an evolving world.

Our Plan

The Amatz Initiative brings principals to Eretz Yisroel on a week long mission. Removed from their usual distractions and drawn into the holiness of the land, world class educators inspire them with thought-provoking classes, providing the venue to introspect, brainstorm, and strengthen their determination to bring back new strategies.

Who We Are

The Amatz Initiative is the brainchild of three women, Mrs. Leba Schwebel, Mrs. Tzippy Reifer and Mrs. Michele Weiss.

Our Mission

The Amatz Initiative strives to partner with principals and educators and provide training to reach, connect and engage their students emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Our hope is that these young women will always be cognizant of their connection to the Ribbono Shel Olam.

Our Vision

The Amatz Initiative believes that as a result of partnering together with educators the tide can be reversed. Our educators are devoted and dedicated, yet need new solutions for their everyday challenges.

Rabbi Elya Brudny, Rabbi Asher Weiss, Rabbi Binyomin Eisenberger, Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff and Rabbi Leib Keleman have all given enthusiastic encouragement to this exciting project.
